Warehouse127 Features Local Artists
Traction recently stripped the walls of Warehouse127 down to their bare skin so that we could bring in an entirely new collection of local art.
Head over to this Traction blog post to browse through Gallery127, featuring the works of Oklahoma artists Michelle Firment Reid and Don Emerick.

Traction's Latest and Greatest
To paraphrase one of our favorite ad industry quotes, we at Traction just really dig coming up with cool stuff. Thankfully, that happens quite often around here.
As a matter of fact, we create a whole section on our cool new website and called it "Our Latest and Greatest". There, we feature the coolest stuff we've been doing at that moment. Heck, if you use the cool slider function on the TractionOKC.com homepage, even getting there is cool.
At the moment, we're featuring the just-launched This Kind of Love engagement ring campaign for BC Clark Jewelers. Trendy, casual, and genuine, This Kind of Love showcases that really real moment in which a couple realizes "love" just turned into This Kind of Love.
To see and read more about This Kind of Love, head on over to our Latest and Greatest before we replace it with our next latest and greatest.
Recent Projects
If you were to walk in to Traction's Warehouse127 right this very second, there are a couple of things you probably couldn't help but notice.
One, the Warehouse is a really cool joint. And two, we're pretty dang hooked up with projects and are turning out some of our best work ever.
Here's a little taste of who we've been working with and what we've been working on.
uVizz
uVizz is a user-generated video advertising platform that leverages social networks for the viral spread of brand content. We can't say much more than that because uVizz hasn't actually launched yet.
Outside of some Beta testing, we're leaving our mark on uVizz's corporate identity, collateral materials, web presence, etc. So keep your eyes peeled for uVizz coming to a social network near you.
Carland Group
Our old suite mates, the Carland Group is a contractor and development group for senior living communities.
We like to think the multiple corporate identiy packages, collateral materials, and advertising initiatives we've created for them and their communities has led to so much success they had to find a bigger space.
HSEarchitects
This OKC architect group is responsible for such recognizable works as Block42 and Sonic's corporate offices. They're office space also rivals ours in the category of Awesome Places to Work.
Turns out architecture groups are better at building buildings than building websites. Luckily, we kind of specialize in that area and should have the brand new HSE site up in a jiffy.
OSU-OKC
OSU-OKC is Oklahoma City's only Oklahoma State University-affiliated college. And with 41 two-year degrees in many of tomorrow's most promising industries, OSU-OKC offers OKC a headstart on the future.
OSU-OKC obviously has the OSU branding machine at its back, but we've had the pleasure of guiding the college's upcoming message delivery, reinventing its graphic standards, and generating the new but not-yet-released tagline and image campaign.
Camp Fire USA - Heart of Oklahoma Council
Traction is providing a pro-bono website redesign for this local branch of the well-known not-for-profit youth development organization.
Covercraft
Traction is designing and developing a series of eCommerce websites for Covercraft and Covercraft's daughter companies - all of which provide different types of protective covering for automobiles and such.
Sara Sara Cupcakes
Sara Sara Cupcakes is OKC's chic new cupcakery on 9th Street just east of Automobile Alley. Traction is about to give them a hand with their online and social media initiatives.
Traction Website Updates
In last month's eNewsletter, we unleashed the then-brand-new TractionOKC.com and received the biggest bump in traffic we've ever had. Awesome!
We're not ready to sit back on our laurels just yet, though. We've actually got quite a few updates up our sleeves that we'll be adding over the next days, weeks, and months so that our beloved TractionOKC.com doesn't get stale on us... or you, for that matter.
Actually, we made our first update a few weeks ago and blogged about it here. A pretty simple feature, really. It just lets you get our fun and insightful blog posts right in your email inbox whenever we push a new one out.
Of course you could just RSS our blog, but we knew this blog-to-inbox feature would be more up some of our readers' alleys.
To get the Traction Blog in your inbox, just go to the Traction blog page and enter your email address in the field to the right of the blog posts. If you would instead like to RSS our blog, just scroll to the bottom of the same blog page and click the RSS icon.
There you have it - two easy ways to stay on top of your Traction literature. And just the tip of the iceberg for everything we have in store for TractionOKC.com.
Tractioneer Takes Ad2OKC Reins
Traction's resident Creativist, Tanner Tate, has recently assumed the office of President of Ad2OKC - a professional organization for OKC's 32-and-under ad industry students and professionals.
For the last year, Tanner has been the organization's President-Elect and Communications Chairperson.
Among Tanner's first initiatives as Ad2OKC President is to establish an interactive, social-based industry Job Bank on the Ad2OKC social neTWOrk.
Asked what else he has in store for Ad2OKC, Tanner said that he'd like to re-focus Ad2OKC's sights on the market's recent and soon-to-be college grads, and obtain relevant sponsorships for the club's popular monthly speaker meetings and socials.
If you are interested in Ad2OKC membership, posting to the neTWOrk Job Bank or becoming an Ad2OKC sponsor, you may contact Tanner at info@ad2okc.com.
